The building is an architectural and engineering marvel. It stretches confidently between past and future, applying advanced technology to traditional art forms. The Museum of the Future welcomes people of all ages to see, touch and shape our common future. Go on a journey into a possible future and bring hope and knowledge back to the present. The construction without supporting columns is one of the most complex architectural structures - the shape is called "tor" in geometry and is obtained by rotating a circle in three-dimensional space, around an axis that does not intersect.

Located on top of a green hill, the 77-meter-high (7-storey) tower has a usable area of 30,548 square meters and is powered by 4,000 megawatts of solar energy.

The circular building represents humanity, the green hill on which it sits represents the earth, and the void represents the unknown future.

The letters in Arabic calligraphy, which make up the engraving on the outside, serve as windows: these are 1,024 panels made of a fireproof material embedded in stainless steel, manufactured by a process assisted by a specialized robot, with a total area of 17,600 square meters, each panel has a unique design.

The façade is a "canvas" for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's quotations in Mattar bin Lahej's handwriting.

"We will not live for hundreds of years, but we can create something that will last for hundreds of years";

"The future will be for those who will be able to imagine, design and build it, the future does not wait, the future can be designed and built today";

"The secret of the renewal of life, the development of civilization and the progress of humanity is in one word: innovation."

That's what the museum is about: innovation, technology, imagining the future, human development and protecting the planet.

A visit to the Museum costs AED 145, and tickets are available online from the museum's website. It would be good if you plan to visit it, to buy tickets in advance, there is the possibility of not finding for the period you want, if you leave on the last hundred meters.
